Here is my first foray into shoes. They are sandals made from old dress polyester (American Apparel) with a print very remarkable, a layer of cotton denim, very resistant, which is sewn and glued to a rubber plant. The ankle cuffs are made of garment and fasten with buttons, dress the same (note that this solution might suggest a link unsafe to walk, but no quality control takes 4 months and are intact .) The sandals are also a cushioned insole. They are sooo comfortable. Currently made to order, there are many ancient and unique fabrics to choose from.
